More $250 and Under Experiences

Simple Pleasures

My perfect day in Fountain Hills would begin with a drop in yoga class at Connect with Yoga. Following the yoga class, I would have coffee by the fountain at Mountain View Coffee. If the weather is not too warm, I would walk around Fountain Park after coffee.

I would then visit our excellent Fountain Hills Library (www.fhla.net) in the late morning, where my husband says you should go just because they will put you in a good mood.

Next, it would be lunch at Sakura Japanese Restaurant, a hidden treasure in the Hills. During the afternoon, I would have a manicure and pedicure at newer Nails with Monica. After my manicure, I would drop in to the Sunset Gallery to see what reasonably priced treasures Jane has for gifts or stocking stuffers and could buy several small pieces. I would walk back to Gridley’s and browse their collection of cards, as I always find a few I can use, and some books for our grandchildren. If I make this visit on a Thursday, I can take in the Farmer’s Market and pick up some fresh bread and tomatoes.

To complete my day, I would then have dinner at the Water’s Edge Restaurant.
