Fountain Hills Community Theater is proudly entering its 21st season with five Mainstage productions as well as five Youth Theater productions for its 2007-08 Season. The busiest and most honored community theater in the State of Arizona, FHCT produces over a dozen productions annually divided between two full time stages. The theater also offers after-school performing arts workshops for youth ages 5 to 18, summer mini-camps, a six-week Teen Camp and trip to New York City.
Fountain Hills Chamber Players
Fountain Hills Chamber Players, in its 11th season of professional chamber music concerts, presents a joyous and exciting concert series in Fountain Hills featuring music for strings, woodwinds, and piano. As the only instrumental group in Fountain Hills, the ensemble performs professional concerts and educational events. With the goal of sharing the passion, joy, and power of music, programs feature musical masterpieces from all eras.
In-Home Concert Series
For the past 15 winter seasons, the In-Home Concert Series has offered professional jazz and classical music performed in private homes throughout the Fountain Hills community. This unique series provides the opportunity for audiences to socialize and interact with the musicians in a relaxed and comfortable setting.
Fountain Hills Community Chorus
Comprised of approximately fifty men and women who sing in four-part harmony, was founded in 1991 by a group of Fountain Hills residents. The chorus presents a holiday concert in early December and a spring concert in early April. The chorus and small ensembles from the group also perform at community functions and private parties.
Jazz In The Hills - A Regular Friday Night Event!
Music begins at 8:30 p.m. at Appian Way Restaurant, 17149 Amhurst Drive. With soft candle-lit atmosphere, low tables, smoke-free air and the best jazz in the Valley, it has become one of the region’s best-kept secrets. Let the secret out! Tell your friends, and bring a friend with you. The concerts are held as a community service and are under the umbrella of the Fountain Hills Community Theater. Jazz in the Hills is a non-profit organization with all donations going towards paying the musicians and keeping the tradition alive. CDs and cassettes will be available.
